When to call the Osteopath
Indications that your horse or pony may require a consultation include:
: Reduced performance
: Change in behaviour
: Inability to canter on one lead
: Unevenness
: Altered gait
: He bites your arse when you bend over
Treatment Regime
Some owners choose to have preventative, or maintaining, treatment for their horse.
This ranges from an annual or 6 monthly check-up to weekly or monthly checks for horses in very heavy work situations such as racing and eventing.

Veterinary Care
Before a consultation I need to have the consent of your veterinary that your horse is suitable for treatment. Please call them to check before my visit.
Osteopathy is not a replacement for veterinary care. If you are concerned for the health of your horse or pony; your first point of call should be your vet.
